With anticipation steadily building and a countdown officially underway, the Philippines is opening its doors to the world — and calling on volunteers — as it prepares to host the inaugural FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup from November 21 to December 7, 2025.

This year's edition will feature three teams from Asia, two each from Africa and CONCACAF, three from South America, four from Europe, and one from Oceania.
Spain, Brazil and Portugal are among the favorites based on international rankings and tournament pedigree, while countries like Morocco and New Zealand have seen steady growth in their futsal programs in recent years.
The official tournament logo was unveiled in March, and preparations continue with an emphasis on grassroots engagement and legacy-building.
