It took some time, but top overall pick Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings are finally streaking after edging the Sun on the road in Connecticut.

Meanwhile, Allisha Gray and the Atlanta Dream continued their strong start to the season, while Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins led the Seattle Storm in spoiling reigning MVP A’ja Wilson’s return for the Aces.

BUECKERS, WINGS WIN BACK-TO-BACK; DREAM, STORM PICK UP STEAM

  • Dallas Wings (3-11) def. Connecticut Sun (2-11), 86-83: For the first time this season, the Wings are on a win streak after pulling out a tight road dub over the Sun.

Top overall pick Paige Bueckers scored a team-high 21 points, marking her first back-to-back 20-point games in her WNBA career. NaLyssa Smith, Aziaha James, and Li Yueru combined for 49 points to help power the Wings’ balanced offense.

  • Atlanta Dream (9-4) def. Washington Mystics (5-8), 92-91: Allisha Gray fired 18 points as the Dream held on late over the Mystics and avoided a late-game collapse.

Atlanta is now off to its best 13-game start since 2014, further reinforcing the Dream’s strong early-season form.

  • Seattle Storm (8-5) def. Las Vegas Aces (5-7), 90-83: Behind Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins-Smith, the Storm spoiled reigning MVP A’ja Wilson’s return from injury and handed the Aces their third straight loss.

Ogwumike poured in 25 points, while Diggins-Smith added 24 as the Storm continued their resurgence, winning four of their last five games after a three-game skid.
