The Seoul SK Knights sustained their fine play and hacked out a 54-51 win over Changwon LG Sakers in Game 6 of the 2024-25 Korean Basketball League Finals on Thursday, May 15.

Mired in a 0-3 hole early in the best-of-seven series, the SK Knights have since regained their bearings and won the next three matches to force the sudden death.

Jameel Warney starred with his points, 11 rebounds, five assists, one steal and three blocks for the Knights, who silenced the home crowd at the Changwon Gymnasium.

The visiting team leaned on a sizzling second quarter that saw Seoul outgun the Sakers, 18-7, and take a 29-17 advantage entering the break.

While they momentarily sputtered in the third period, Warney and the rest of the Knights restored order and slowly scraped past the home team.

Carl Tamayo recovered from a previous eight-point outing, tallying 13 points seven rebounds, an assist and three steals this time for Changwon.

Yu Ki-sang topscored for Changwon with 18 points he spiked with four rebounds, three steals and two blocks.

Tamayo and Yu’s efforts, though, went for naught.

The LG Sakers and the SK Knights meet for the last time on Saturday, May 17, at the Jamsil Student Gymnasium.
