These Navigators are sailing to a new home.
The Cignal HD Spikers are revamping their roster with six new players, after falling short to the Sta. Elena-NU Nationals in the 2023 PVL Invitational Conference.
Cignal announced they have signed up six players, majority of which came from D'Navigators Iloilo.
These are middle blockers Nas Gwaza and Giles Torres, opposite spiker Madz Gampong, and libero Vince Lorenzo.
Cignal also recruited Santa Rosa City Lions middle blocker Ron Rosales and Cotabato Spikers setter Kris Silang.
Gwaza was the fourth top blocker during the 2023 Invitational Conference preliminaries with an average of 0.79 per set. Meanwhile, Lorenzo was the sixth best digger with an average of 2.21 per set.
2023 Invitational Conference Best Middle Blocker JP Bugaoan and 2023 Open Conference Best Outside Spiker Wendel Miguel will serve as co-captains.
Also remaining with the squad in red are Jao Umandal, EJ Casaña, JP Bugaoan, Alfred Valbuena, Wendell Miguel, Vince Abrot, and Lloyd Josafat.
