Robert Bolick couldn’t wait to don the Fukushima Firebonds colors in the Japan B.League.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Bolick expressed his excitement to join his new team, which is competing in the league’s B2 or second division.

“I am so excited for this new chapter of my life and I can’t wait to play for you guys in Japan. I know the journey will be all worth it!,” said the 27-year-old playmaker.

“Thank you for giving me a chance to showcase my talent and skills in basketball. For believing in me and trusting in me! I will make you guys proud and I won’t let you down.”

Fukushima formally announced on Monday the signing of the former NorthPort Batang Pier ace, whose contract with the said PBA team expired late April.

The third overall pick in the 2018 Draft went to battle with the Batang Pier for four years. Unfortunately, it didn’t result in a championship.

Still, the three-time NCAA champion with the San Beda University Red Lions was grateful for the opportunity to strut his wares in NorthPort red all these years.

“Huge thanks and appreciation to the @pbaconnect @northportph team management coaches, and staff for the 4 years battle we had. See you around. PBA jersey number 8 signing off for now,” he said.
