Down by as many as 16 points early on, the Beermen slowly gained steam to trim the gap to just one, 47-48, at the break.
SMB then opened the third on a 19-5 tear to eventually turn the tables on their foe and grab the pivotal 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.
