Help is on the way for Gilas Pilipinas.

This as Poy Erram is set to reinforce the squad in the Southeast Asian Games 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand, replacing injured Allen Liwag.

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas made the announcement Saturday, Dec. 13.

The TNT big man's arrival is a welcome development for the hastily assembled Nationals, who are in dire need of someone who can shore up its frontline.

Gilas will open its title retention bid against Malaysia Sunday, Dec. 14.

Tip off is at 12:30 p.m.
