Tim Cone bared the final lineup for Gilas Pilipinas in the first window of the FIBA World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers against Guam.
Quentin Millora-Brown will make his Gilas Pilipinas debut when the national team takes on Guam in the first window of the FIBA World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers.
Gilas will be on the road against Guam on Nov. 28.
Aside from QMB, RJ Abarrientos is also making his first official game for the Gilas squad under coach Tim Cone.
“These are the 12 we’re going to war with,” said head coach Tim Cone during the sendoff at the Upper Deck VIP Lounge on Monday, Nov. 24.
“We wanted to stay loyal with the group that’s been with us.”
Completing the final 12 for Gilas Pilipinas are Justin Brownlee, Japeth Aguilar, Chris Newsome, June Mar Fajardo, Dwight Ramos, Scottie Thompson, Carl Tamayo, Kevin Quiambao, AJ Edu, and Cjay Perez.
Cut from the lineup were Jamie Malonzo, Troy Rosario, and Juan Gomez de Liaño.
“They were cut from the window today but they were not cut from the program. They are pretty much part of the pool,” said Cone.

Like most sportswriters, Jan Ballesteros once dreamed of becoming a professional hooper. But he learned the hard way that it’s not for everyone.
He continues to be involved in the sport he loves, but this time as a member of the PBA Press Corps. Aside from primarily covering the PBA, he is also assigned to cover Gilas Pilipinas.
