Double OT & double turkeys: Gilas star Jordan Clarkson, NBA stud Devin Booker keep on giving

Last weekend was a weekend that kept on giving for fans of the Utah Jazz and the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns came to visit for a series of games against the Jazz. The first one on Saturday led to a 131-128 victory for Phoenix in the NBA In-Season Tournament. The Suns made it two Ws in a row after beating the Suns in a very tense double-overtime affair, 140-137, on Monday.

But before questions were raised regarding Kevin Durant's hit on Lauri Markkanen, stars from the two squads got together to raise some cheer.

Suns star Devin Booker dropped by the Canyon and West Jordan school districts to take part in Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson's outreach project.

The Gilas Pilipinas baller, who starred in the FIBA World Cup in Manila, held his second annual turkey giveaway for Thanksgiving Day, and D-Book was quick to give his help.

"Giving back to the community is something we can all come together on this holiday season," read the Jazz's Instagram post about the event.

Some fans nodded in respect.

You know, Kendall Jenner might have done something good to kickstart this legacy. IYKYK.

Since joining the Jazz in 2019, Clarkson has become a valued member of the Salt Lake community. He's taken part in various social programs of the NBA in the city in the past, and last year, he decided to jumpstart his own program.

Here's to hoping he won't go cold turkey on it.
