Newly crowned MLBB Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2025 champions Team Liquid PH had a royal encounter of their own — crossing paths with Saudi royal Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud.
From raising a trophy to rubbing shoulders with royalty, Team Liquid PH’s MLBB Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2025 championship run ended with a moment fit for kings.
The Cavalry shared a lighthearted encounter with Saudi royal Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud fresh just days after their 4-1 victory over Selangor Red Giants OG Esports in the Grand Finals.
American esports coach Tanner “7Teen” Curtis posted an Instagram Story that featured the Cavalry and the Saudi royalty playing a game of MLBB inside a fancied restaurant.
“The boys are playing MLBB with His Royal Highness,” Curtis wrote.
The victory marked a historic breakthrough for Team Liquid PH, who became the first Philippine team to win the MSC since RSG Philippines’ title run in 2022.

After dropping Game 1, the Cavalry roared back with four straight wins to secure the best-of-seven series and the $1 million (P57 million) prize.
Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya earned Finals MVP honors, while veteran jungler Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno completed his trophy case with the elusive MSC crown that had long remained out of his reach.
Meanwhile, ONIC Philippines also made waves, capturing third place after a five-game thriller against sister team ONIC Indonesia.
The Super Family, in their MSC debut, walked away with P14 million in prize money.
