Garcia will be another key piece for the Green Archers.
Changes continue to be made at La Salle as newly minted head coach Topex Robinson added Caloy Garcia to his coaching staff.
Garcia, who is also an assistant coach for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, attended the Green Archers' team practice on Friday.
Aside from Garcia, Robinson also called on decorated high school head coach JB Sison to help the team that also has assistant coaches Mon Jose and Gian Nazario onboard.
In an Instagram post, Robinson, who has been infusing “Topex things” into La Salle, continued his push to change the culture at La Salle, citing that “people need people.”
“A lot of times we tend to focus too much on our goals that we forget that there’s people around us. We forget our calling as humans to interact with others. We forget to build relationships and to express and give love,” said Robinson.
The former Phoenix Fuel Masters head coach will have plenty of time to continue to build his culture and brand of basketball at La Salle as Season 86 is still months away.
