The NU Bulldogs head back to the UAAP Season 86 men's volleyball finals for the ninth straight time after eliminating the DLSU Green Spikers.
The National University Bulldogs secured their ninth consecutive Finals appearance in the UAAP Season 86 men's volleyball tournament after defeating the De La Salle University Green Spikers in four sets, 25-23, 22-25, 25-22, 25-21, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, May 8.
Buds Buddin led the way for NU with a game-high 22 points, including 11 excellent receptions. Owa Retamar also chipped in with 21 excellent sets and five points.
With the win, NU advances to the Finals, where the Bulldogs will await the winner of the do-or-die match between Far Eastern University and the University of Santo Tomas. The Green Spikers, on the other hand, bow out of the tournament after a valiant effort.
