De La Salle University (DLSU) clawed back from a first-set drubbing to defeat Adamson University in four sets, 17-25, 25-19, 25-11, 25-22, in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament on Wednesday, April 17th at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
This victory propels the Lady Spikers into a three-way tie for first place in the standings.
With this win, De La Salle joins the National University Lady Bulldogs and the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses in a three-way tie for first place, all boasting identical 10-2 win-loss records.
According to UAAP rules, a tie-breaker system based on points will be used to determine the final standings. Currently, National University leads with 30 points, followed by De La Salle at 29 points and UST at 28 points.
