LIST: All PVL Player of the Week winners for 2024 All-Filipino Conference

The 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference is set to head to what should be an incredible playoffs after a banner preliminary round.

 

Action wa fast and furious among the 12 teams, with exactly half finishing with winning records.

 

Highlighting the intense competition, five teams finished with at least eight wins, with three times having to tie with the best record with nine wins each.

 

Shining through the intense games were the PVL Players of the Week, awarded by the Press Corps covering the games day in and day out.

 

The Player of the Week citation made its return this conference after years of absence, so it’s only fitting that we highlight them here now, before we move on to some playoff volleyball.

 

 

Vanie Gandler (Cignal HD Spikers) | February 20-24

Vanie Gandler's second season with the Cignal HD Spikers was off to a fine start, bagging the first Player of the Week citation for the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

 

 

Sisi Rondina (Choco Mucho Flying Titans) | February 27-March 2

Sisi Rondina's MVP form was unleashed early, leading Choco Mucho to a 3-0 start in the PVL All-Filipino Conference.

 

 

Louie Romero (Farm Fresh Foxies) | March 5-9

Louie Romero’s heroics in Farm Fresh’s upset of Petro Gazz earned her the honor of this conference’s third PVL Press Corps Player of the Week.

 

 

Jen Nierva (Chery Tiggo Crossovers) | March 12-16

After a double-double performance in Chery Tiggo's massive sweep of Creamline that ended the Cool Smashers' 19-game winning streak, star libero Jen Nierva was the obvious choice for PVL Player of the Week.

 

 

Savi Davison (PLDT High Speed Hitters) | March 19-23

Savi Davison showcased her scoring prowess to lead PLDT’s perfect week against Choco Much and Farm Fresh, averaging 21.0 points in the two games for her first PVL PoW nod.

 

 

Tots Carlos (Creamline Cool Smashers) | March 26

Creamline star Tots Carlos was the obvious choice for PVL Player of the Week after breaking the scoring record for locals in a five-set win over Cignal.

 

 

Brooke Van Sickle (Petro Gazz Angels) | April 2-6

For her exceptional all-around performance that allowed the Angels to secure just their second win over Creamline in their past 19 matches, Brooke Van Sickle was named PVL Press Corps Player of the Week for the period of April 2 to 6.

 

 

Eya Laure (Chery Tiggo Crossovers) | April 9-13

Eya Laure took the wheel in Chery Tiggo's giant-slaying road trip, propelling the Crossovers to a pivotal victory over Cignal in the 2024 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.

Back-to-back stellar showings foe Eya Laure in Chery Tiggo’s semis push were enough to earn a second straight PVL Press Corps Player of the Week nod for the period of April 16 to 20 in the flourishing professional league organized by Sports Vision.

 

 

Savi Davison (PLDT High Speed Hitters) | April 23-27
