Chery Tiggo Crossovers’ Mylene Paat and Creamline Cool Smashers’ Tots Carlos are ready to dive into the international volleyball scene as they represent the Philippines in the 2024 KOVO Women’s Asia Volleyball League tryouts.
After being announced as part of the 36-player pool in the draft selection, PVL superstars Mylene Paat and Tots Carlos were spotted in the tryout session of the 2024 KOVO Women’s Asia Volleyball League.
The Creamline’s decorated spiker aims to bring some frosty flair to her first international stint.
It's second time's the charm for the Chery Tiggo veteran as she capitalizes on her last year’s KOVO selection, where she got undrafted along with Jia De Guzman, Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Majoy Baron, and Iris Tolenada.
Mylene will also draw on her previous successful experience with Thailand's Nakhon Ratchashima VC, where she clinched a bronze medal and emerged as the league’s scorer in the volleyball Thailand League.
Meanwhile, Paat and Carlos are both likely to miss out on some of the semifinal games in the All-Filipino Conference as the KOVO tryout will be held until May 1.
