The De La Salle University Lady Spikers swept the University of the East Lady Warriors, 25-17, 25-20, 25-17, to end the elimination round of their UAAP Season 85 women's volleyball tournament campaign on a high note.

The runners-up of last season, though, aren't celebrating their 12-1 win-loss record. Far from it.

"Hindi pa tapos 'yung season, mahaba pa 'yan kahit na Final Four, we need to work hard still," opposite hitter Alleiah Malaluan said after the game.

A hungry and confident La Salle side will be dangerous in the Final Four.

"Kailangan namin panghawakan kung ano 'yung standing namin ngayon kasi parang nakakataas siya ng kumpiyansa, at the same time, hindi pa talaga tapos 'yung season. Tsaka hindi pa naman 'yun 'yung 100% result. May malalabas pa kami pagkatapos," Malaluan added.

Not to be contented herself, Angel Canino pointed out that the Lady Spikers can still improve.

"Kailangan pa naming tatagan 'yung sarili namin. Always stick to the system and game plan every game," the super rookie told reporters after dropping 13 points against UE.

The Lady Spikers will now set their sights on the Final Four, where they will have a twice-to-beat advantage thanks to their league-leading record.
