The Creamline Cool Smashers have bolstered their backcourt following the disbandment of the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, securing star libero Jen Nierva ahead of the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Nierva arrives as one of the league’s most battle-tested defensive specialists, known for her sharp court coverage, steady reception, and vocal presence on the floor.

A former UAAP standout, she carved out a reputation as a reliable libero at both the collegiate and professional levels, eventually becoming a fixture in Chery Tiggo’s defensive setup during the club’s competitive runs in the PVL. She also suited up for Alas Pilipinas.

Her move to Creamline comes at a crucial time, with the Cool Smashers set to navigate the All-Filipino Conference without Kyla Atienza, who is sidelined after suffering a tear to the lateral ulnar collateral ligament in her left elbow.

Atienza’s injury leaves a temporary gap in Creamline’s backcourt rotation—one that Nierva is well-equipped to help fill.

At Creamline, Nierva is expected to share libero duties with long-time floor general Denden Lazaro-Revilla, as well as Alleiah Torres and Ella De Jesus.

The addition gives the Cool Smashers added flexibility, depth, and insurance in reception-heavy lineups, especially during a compressed All-Filipino schedule.
