Mars Alba is officially moving on from the Choco Mucho Flying Titans after over a year with the PVL squad.

The Flying Titans announced Alba’s departure on Monday, June 30, thanking the playmaker for her contributions during her stint with the team.

“Your exceptional playmaking and court smarts will remain significant contributions to the team,” Choco Mucho wrote. “You’ll always be a Titan. Good luck on your next chapter.”

Alba played a pivotal role in Choco Mucho’s silver-medal finish during the 2024 All-Filipino Conference, as well as coming up clutch during the team's run in the recent 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference.

Her composure and decision-making at the net helped stabilize the Flying Titans' offense alongside fellow setter Deanna Wong.

It’s still unclear where Alba will head next, but plenty of teams are expected to make offers for the prized setter.

With Alba’s departure, the Flying Titans look to start a new chapter amid their ongoing PVL on Tour campaign.

For now, it will be Wong and Jem Ferrer orchestrating the plays for Choco Mucho as they await Fil-Am standout Tia Andaya, whom the team selected with the eighth overall pick in the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft.
