Erika Santos played big for PLDT in its win against Nxled in the PVL Reinforced Conference.
PLDT struggled to put away Nxled early on, but later got its bearings going on the way to a 32-30, 25-18, 25-17, win in the PVL Reinforced Conference at the PhilSports Arena on Tuesday, July 30.
The High Speed Hitters thus preserved a perfect 3-0 record in Pool A, while the Chameleons dropped their second straight game for a 1-2 mark.
Russian import Elena Samoilenko showed the way with 20 points for the High Speed Hitters, who needed an extended set to take the lead in the opener.
After Samoilenko, it was Erika Santos who scored the crucial spikes on her way to 19 big points, while Fiola Ceballos added eight for PLDT.
With import Meegan Hart struggling, Chiara Permentilla paced Nxled with 15 points, while Trisha Genesis had 12 in a losing cause.
Hart was limited to just seven points.
