Angkas girlie Detdet? Who is she? We don’t know her.
To all the student commuters, have you ever had that moment when you are already late to your class but your PUV driver suddenly decides to gas up their ride?
The same thing happened to our favorite kalog girlie, UST captain Detdet Pepito.
Detdet failed to be on time for the awarding ceremony of the UAAP Season 85 because the driver of her motorcycle taxi decided to have a pitstop and replenish his fuel.
But now, things have shifted for our Detdet “nakaangat na sa laylayan” Pepito because she is now in her passenger princess era.
Detdet, along with her teammate, Cassie Carballo, hitched a ride in the car with their coach, Ian Fernandez.
“Syempre super thank you. Big shoutout, Coach Ian [Fernandez] dahil hinatid niya kami with [the] car," she flexes.
Big time na si ate girl!
”Nag-upgrade na po kami. May car na daw po. Pero kung wala po si Coach Ian, Siguro nag-Angkas po kami dito sa [MOA] Arena,” jokingly added Cassie.
It was definitely a better decision due to the scorching heat in Manila, and Coach Ian also made a proactive move to fill their gas tank before going to the arena.
The fun ride also turned into a victory parade as Detdet Pepito clinched her second-straight Best Libero plum, while Cassie Carballo won her Best Setter award.
