Ibalik ang korona … sa Sampaloc?
The dog show between NU’s Bella Belen and UST’s Detdet Pepito has now elevated to a whole new level, taking center stage during the UAAP Season 86 Awarding Ceremony.
Our favorite UAAP besties just keep on winning, with Detdet being a back-to-back Best Libero and Bella being the Best Outside Spiker and reclaiming her throne as the Season MVP.
While the NU Lady Bulldogs and the UST Golden Tigresses are currently in a high-stakes face-off in the crucial Game 2 Finals, it does not hinder Detdet and Belen’s girlhood (and baliwan) moments.
After being announced as the season MVP, Bella gave her speech while Detdet took out her phone and captured a video of her bff.
“Una po, nagpapasalamat ako kay God, and sa families namin na laging nakasuporta, and sa mga garapatas,” thanked Bella.
“And pahiram muna ng tagline ng UST. Ibalik ang korona sa Sampaloc, Manila!” she shouted.
But of course, her palaban bff Detdet, won’t back down easily.
“Sampaloc din kami!” said Detdet.
Oo nga naman, Bella.
Wherever the crown belongs, may the best Sampaloc girlie win!
