She got it earlier, though.
While most people unwrapped their presents on Christmas eve, Sisi Rondina took the time to reflect on the conference that was for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans.
And it was one hell of a ride for the ladies in ube. In fact, it was so good that Rondina got her gift weeks earlier—as did her fellow Flying Titans.
No, it’s not the MVP award or the luxury bag he received from an unknown admirer. She was referring to something more valuable.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Rondina said her best Christmas gift came in the form of a silver medal in the recently concluded PVL Second All-Filipino Conference.
“Got the best Christmas Gift from my teammates, coaches, and management,” she wrote in the caption with a silver medal and purple heart emojis, respectively.

Despite her 33-point outing in Game 2, the Flying Titans still fell short agains eventual champions Creamline Cool Smashers. Still, Choco Mucho put up quite the fight, extending the seven-time champions to a deciding fifth set in what was an electric finale to a fantastic conference.
But there’s always gain in defeat. Now that they got their first taste of a finals appearance, it might be only a matter time before silver turns into gold for Rondina and the Flying Titans.
Now, wouldn't that be an even better gift?
