No one is spared from Metro Manila traffic. Wait, scratch that. Those VIPs with their police escorts are exempted from the life-sucking congestion in the metro, but only them.
Normal people have to endure the daily grind, and even the top athletes are not spared. Case in point is Aby Maraño's experience.
The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers captain shared on Instagram how her usual travel time had quintupled.
"I left my house at 6 a.m. [and] arrived at SM Marikina after 48 minutes. 10 minutes lang travel time ko papunta dito ‘pag hindi traffic," she shared.
Maraño summed up the situation in one word, "Kalurks."
"Kalurks, teammates ko tulog pa habang ako banat na sa kalsada. Kung tutuusin, 30-40 minutes lang naman ‘yung byahe from Antipolo to Taft dati. Ngayon, 2-3 hours na. Awit," she furthered said.
Maraño will have to endure more of those situations without a real solution to the worsening traffic.
