With nothing but pride at stake, the also-ran NorthPort Batang Pier came out swinging against the top seed-seeking NLEX Road Warriors in the PBA PH Cup.
NorthPort played as though everything was on the line when it pulled the rug from under erstwhile league leader NLEX, 113-108, in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Malate Wednesday, June 11.
The Batang Pier punched in just its second win in their penultimate game while also making it a little tougher for the Road Warriors to gain the top seeding at the end of the elimination round.
