The Phoenix Fuel Masters get a morale-boosting win in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup.
Phoenix injected life into its campaign as it frustrated TNT, 95-81, in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Montalban Friday, May 2.
In the battle between cellar-dwellers, the Fuel Masters emerged victorious and improved to a 2-3 card.
Phoenix also added to the misery of the Tropang 5G, who reeled to a third straight loss in as many games.

Jason Perkins fired 27 points built on an 11-for-20 scoring clip while also adding six boards, three assists and a denial to lead Phoenix.
He was later named Player of the Game.
The Fuel Masters will face a tougher challenge as they take on conference favorite San Miguel on May 11 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Malate.
