He will replace Quincy Miller.
To arrest their skid in the EASL Home and Away season, TNT Tropang Giga tapped RHJ on Thursday.
But no, it’s not Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. The Tropang Giga signed the PBA Governors’ Cup best import’s older brother Rahlir.
Rahlir will replace Quincy Miller, who dazzled in a 105-97 loss to Anyang Jang Kwan Jang Red Boosters, finishing with 35 points and five rebounds.
But the Tropang Giga now leaves the fate of the team in the hands of the Hollis-Jefferson siblings after a 0-4 start in Group A of the regional league.
While the elder Hollis-Jefferson didn’t suit up in the NBA, he still boasts a wealth of experience that included a stint in the NBA G-League with the Memphis Hustle. He also had stops in Canada and Finland.
Fans took to social media to express their optimism with the recent signing.

This fan, though, thought the team needed a big who could also stretch the floor and dropped the name of former TNT import Terrence Jones.

From now on, TNT should designate a nickname for the two to avoid confusion.
