Time for some fun and relaxation for PH athletes after competing for most of 2022.
All athletes need a break from time to time, and what better time to do it than the yuletide season. While some of our comrades in sports are still out there competing, some have the luxury to take a break these holidays.
Alyssa Valdez
Creamline star Alyssa Valdez decided to take a trip to San Francisco in the United States. It was a much deserved break for Valdez after a grueling 2022 PVL season. Fans will definitely be hoping that this refreshens Valdez come 2023.
Evan Nelle
DLSU star Evan Nelle, meanwhile, decided to go the local route and visit Siargao over the break. The tourist destination is usually quiet during the Christmas season which makes it also a perfect getaway for those who want a quiet break.
Kianna Dy
As mentioned before, Kianna Dy decided to fly over to Japan to relax and enjoy with Gilas mainstay Dwight Ramos. The two have been enjoying their time in Hokkaido – eating around, and making Tiktok videos. We can’t wait for Kianna’s vlog for this trip!
Gabe Norwood
The Norwood family decided that Boracay would be their destination this holiday season. It’s always fun to have the entire family around so that everyone can relax and unwind.
Maverick Ahanmisi
It will be a white Christmas for Converge star Maverick Ahanmisi as he headed off to California for some snow.
Junna Tsukii
Filipino-Japanese karateka Junna Tsukii had a historic 2022 after bagging the karate gold in the World Games last June. For the holiday season, it seems like Junna decided to enjoy her short break at Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Eumir Marcial
Of course, we had to include Eumir Marcial as well. While he has been somewhat under the radar this 2022, we expect Eumir to make his presence felt come 2023. It’s no time off for the Olympic medalist as he continues his training for the upcoming professional fights, and possibly the 2023 SEA Games. Laban Eumir!
