Alex Eala will preface her 2026 season with a campaign at the 2025 MGM Macau Tennis Masters, an invitational tournament.
Alex Eala will be preparing early for the 2026 tennis season with a post-Christmas tournament—the 2025 MGM Macau Tennis Masters, an invitational tournament to be held at the Macao Forum on December 27 to 28.
Eala, who finished inside the WTA Top 50 this 2025 season will be joining WTA star Mirra Andreeva in the two-day tournament that will serve as her warmup for 2026, when she is expected to make strides in her tennis career.
The 20-year-old will be part of a lineup to be pitted against each other with team captains and Grand Slam champions Li Na and Conchita Martinez.
She and Andreeva are the only WTA players included in the lineup.
Meanwhile, ATP players include home bet Shang Juncheng, ATP World No. 10 Jack Draper, and Jakub Mensik.
Another player set to join the lineup has yet to be announced.
Eala’s foray into the Macau Tennis Masters will come after her plans to see action with the Philippine team in the Southeast Asian Games in Thailand in early December.
At the moment, Eala is enjoying a few weeks of rest and relaxation in the Philippines before getting ready for another grueling season.
She recently wrapped up her campaign in the WTA Tour with the Asian swing.
