Three other Filipinos officially began their 2025-26 B.LEAGUE campaigns on Saturday, October 4, with AJ Edu, Jamie Malonzo, and Francis Lopez all making their debuts for their new squads.

In Kariya, Edu delivered a steady outing in his first game with the Gunma Crane Thunders, contributing eight points, five rebounds, two assists, and three blocks in a 75-58 win over the SeaHorses Mikawa.

Edu signed with Gunma in the offseason after previous stints with Nagasaki and Toyama.

Over in Kyoto, Malonzo made his B.LEAGUE debut for the Hannaryz, chipping in four points off the bench in just over seven minutes as his team beat the Toyama Grouses, 94-85.

Meanwhile, Lopez saw 16 minutes of action for FE Nagoya in their 82-79 loss to the Chiba Jets.

The former UP Fighting Maroon managed two points but was hampered by foul trouble, picking up four in his first taste of pro action in Japan.

All three players and their respective teams will be back on the court Sunday for rematches.
