Alex Eala kicks off her WTA 125 Suzhou Open in China on Monday, Sept. 29, just a couple of days since her semis loss at the Jingshan Tennis Open.
The grind continues for Alex Eala.
Just days after ending her Jingshan Open run in the semifinals, the Filipina star is set to compete at the WTA 125 Suzhou Open still in China.
The fourth-seeded Eala is scheduled to take the court on Monday, Sept. 29, in the competition featuring USA’s Iva Jovic, Germany’s Tatjana Maria, and Netherlands’ Suzan Lamens.
Eala is fresh from a semifinal exit in the Jingshan Tennis Open to eventual tournament winner Lulu Sun of New Zealand, 6-3, 4-6, 2-6.
Sun is also in the Suzhou draw.
To start, Eala is facing 32-year-old Polish player Katarzyna Kawa in the Round of 32.
