Czechia took a while to get steam before outplaying Iran in four sets in the quarterfinals of the 2025 FIVB Men's World Championship.
Czechia made history as the team made the Top 4 in the FIVB Men's World Championship after 55 years, beating Iran in four sets, 22-25, 27-25, 25-20, 25-21, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Thursday, September 25.
Czechia last took home the gold medal in 1966, when they were still part of Czechoslovakia.
