VTV Binh Dien Long An punched its ticket to the quarterfinals of the 2025 AVC Women’s Champions League after outlasting Iran’s Saipa Tehran in four sets, 22-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-15, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Tuesday, April 22.
Bouncing back from a tough five-set loss to Beijing Baic Motor, the Vietnamese side showed grit and poise to keep its continental campaign alive, weathering Saipa’s early surge and dominating the final three sets.
Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, more popularly known as T4, powered Binh Dien Long An with an all-around performance, finishing with 18 points off 16 attacks, a block, and an ace.

With the win, Binh Dien advances to the knockout stage, where it will face Taiwan’s Kaohsiung Taipower, who finished Pool B as the top seed after taking down the Petro Gazz Angels and Hip Hing.
