In his first game back in Taiwan following the EASL Final Four in Lapu-Lapu, Joseph Lin sets a new P.LEAGUE+ record for assists in a single game.
EASL stars coming out of the Final Four weekend in Lapu-Lapu are returning to their domestic leagues strong, well at least some of them.
In his first game back in the P.LEAGUE+, Joseph Lin set a new single-game record for assists in New Taipei’s 129-104 win over three-time defending champion Taipei Fubon Braves.
Lin finished with 19 assists, beating the previous record of 17 in the P.LEAGUE+.
The younger Lin brother also finished with 12 points, as the Kings snapped what was a combined six-game losing skid in both domestic and EASL games.
Without Jeremy Lin, the Kings couldn’t close two close games in Lapu-Lapu, finishing fourth in the East Asia Tournament.
Still, New Taipei gets the honor of being the first team from Taiwan to make the EASL semifinals.
In the P.LEAGUE+, the Kings are currently the no. 2 seed with a 14-10 record.
