Belen was a bright spot for the young Filipina spikers squad.
The Philippines may have not secured a victory in the SEA VLeague women’s event, but the future of Philppine volleyball is still looking bright.
A major reason for that is Bella Belen. The NU Lady Bulldog, however, isn't all game face during their trips in Vietnam and Thailand.
In an Instagram post, Belen shared photos and videos during their SEA VLeague campaign. Aside from the in-game photos, she also shared the national team’s bonding moments off the court.
In one clip, Belen was seen trying to pose for a music video-like shot in the team bus, before catching teammate Camille Lamina looking on, causing both of them to burst into laughter.

Bella also uploaded a photo of the team going out for some street food. The volleybelles, specifically Belen and Roma Mae Doromal, surely knew how to enjoy Chiang Mai.

Through the SEA VLeague, Belen added another international experience to her resume after showing off. She's not the lone NU bright spot though, as Alyssa Solomon also brought home some hardware from the Southeast Asian tilt.
Given this experience, Belen, Solomon and the rest of the Bulldogs will be better equipped come UAAP Season 86, where they will look to reclaim the crown taken from them by the reigning champions De La Salle Lady Spikers.
