The teammates can check some of their Thailand to-do lists now.
The SEA VLeague is done, with the Philippines staying winless. But the Filipinas won't go home empty-handed, as Alyssa Solomon picked up the Best Opposite Spiker award in Thailand.
Her teammates though are sure to bring back plenty of memories from Chiang Mai.
NU Lady Bulldogs' Bella Belen and Ateneo Blue Eagles' Roma Mae Doromal shared in an interview what they planned to do to make the most of their time in Thailand.
"I think we want to go to the night market. We heard about how fun the night market is, and how big," Belen said in an interview she posted on Instagram.
"I want to eat mango sticky rice. That's my favorite here in Thailand," Doromal added.
The Philippines failed to pick up a win in two legs of the women's SEA VLeague in Vietnam and Thailand. However, they did manage to take a set win against Vietnam in Chiang Mai, a repeat of their result in Leg 1.
They also managed to get the first frame against Indonesia, an improvement from their straight-set loss in Leg 1.
Expect the SEA VLeague stint to become a valuable experience for these players heading to UAAP Season 86.
