Terence Crawford did something that only the great ones are capable of. He walked into the ring with rap god Eminem.

Kidding aside, he fought the most important bout of his decorated career as he faced fellow pound-for-pound stalwart Errol Spence Jr. for the undisputed kingship of the welterweight category. Crawford understood the magnitude of the moment and delivered one the best performances ever in the history of the 147-pound division on Sunday at the T-Mobile Arena. Against a bigger, and perceived to be stronger, opponent, Crawford stood tall and secured a ninth round TKO victory in spectacular fashion.

It was so impressive that the sport’s most respected pundits couldn't help but bow down to the greatness of Crawford.

Legendary trainer Teddy Atlas emphasized how complete a fighter the Omaha slugger is by comparing him to giant retailers.

“Talk about being the complete ‘package’, well Crawford is the entire ‘Store,' Macy’s, Walmart, Target. Costco,” Atlas tweeted.

Well-known boxing aficionado Max Kellerman seemed to have been tongue-tied seeing Crawford’s magnum opus as he described the match in a pretty crude manner.

“Crawford beat the sh** out of him,” he wrote.

Boxing scribe Gareth A. Davies, meanwhile, was more Twitter eloquent in his appreciation of Crawford’s masterpiece.

“Masterclass from Crawford dismantling Spence for 9th round referee stoppage. Spence down in the second and twice in the seventh. One-sided brilliance. All southpaw. Brave Spence. Levels. Crawford p4p No1,” posted Davies.

Just like the experts, everyone else was mind-blown by the sheer dominance of Crawford.

Boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez is now a Crawford superfan, it appears.

“Congrats @terencecrawford, you are a f****** great fighter well deserved,” he wrote.

Heavyweight legend Lennox Lewis is no different.

“No Guy Test! Big up to @terencecrawford on a great win. #UNDISPUTED,” tweeted the former undisputed champ.

After the beatdown administered by Crawford, many boxing fans conceded that he is, indeed, the sweet science’s number one practitioner.

Twitter user @John_Morales98 was quick to update his pound-for-pound list, putting Crawford at the top, Naoya Inoue at second, and Canelo at number three.

Crawford was so good, netizen Said Solomon was compelled to drag Floyd Mayweather’s name in the conversation and suggested that the current welterweight king might even be better than his predecessor.

“I’ll tell you this right now if Floyd was in his prime he woulda never fight Crawford. That man is something serious, not only his boxing IQ but the knockout power he holds," posted @SAEDSOLOMON.

It looks like prizefighting has found a new marquee attraction in Crawford. The only thing is he is already 35 years old. Boxing fans around the world better enjoy every bit of his brilliance while he’s still at the top of his game. Yep, enjoy it as much as Bud’s trainer Brian McIntyre did after his fighter’s huge victory.
