Just two gold medalists having a quick catch up in France.
The Gilas brotherhood is alive and well overseas as former national team teammates CJ Perez and Ange Kouame had a mini reunion in France.

Kouame is currently playing for UB Chartres Metropole in the third-tier league of the Nationale Masculine 1 in France.
Perez, on the other hand, is on a break following another tour of duty for Gilas Pilipinas in the first window of the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers.

Both Perez and Kouame played a vital role in Gilas Pilipinas' historic win at the Asian Games, where the team coached by Tim Cone ended a 61-year gold medal drought for the country.
The naturalized big man even had his best performance in the championship round, scoring 14 on top of 11 rebounds, five steals, and two blocks against Jordan.
