The vlog detailed their journey during the weeklong bubble.
Gilas Pilipinas Women are hell-bent on bagging a third straight gold in the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Cambodia.
As part of their preparation for the regional meet, the Filipina cagers camped for a week in Lipa, Batangas where they held twice-a-day practices.
In her latest vlog on YouTube, Gilas ace Jack Animam gave fans a preview of life in the Batangas bubble.
Spoiler alert: It’s not all work.
In between laborious sessions, Animam and her teammates managed to infuse some fun and, more importantly, lomi, to the weeklong bubble.
“Finally, we survived the two a days [practice week],” Animam said on the last day of training.
The five-time UAAP champion is raring to don the Gilas jersey in the regional stage after skipping the Vietnam SEA Games last year because of an ACL injury.
Gilas will open its campaign against the host team on May 10, before wrapping things up against Malaysia five days later.
