After a flat 0-2 start to the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup, San Miguel ended the elimination round campaign on a sizzling nine-game winning streak.
Though nothing was exactly on the line, San Miguel still went all out it in beating Meralco, 113-104, for its ninth consecutive victory in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup Friday, Dec. 19.
Entering the game, the Beermen were already assured of the No. 1 spot and the twice-to-beat advantage, but did not let up to close the elimination round on top of the heap with their 9-2 record.
