Alas Pilipinas Men will open their campaign in the Alas Pilipinas Invitationals against two-time Indonesian Proliga champion Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi.
Alas Pilipinas return to home soil as they kick off the Alas Pilipinas Invitationals against Indonesia's Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi on Tuesday, June 10 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Led by Marck Espejo, the men’s national volleyball team will be tested early against the reigning back-to-back Proliga champions from Indonesia.
Espejo will be joined by fellow veterans Joshua Retamar, Steven Rotter, Kim Malabunga, JP Bugaoan, Joshua Umandal, Jack Kalingking, Lloyd Josafat, and Louie Ramirez.
The PNVF has also called up a mix of collegiate standouts for the three-day tourney, including UST’s Josh Ybañez, Ateneo’s Ken Batas, La Salle’s Echo Adajar, and NU’s Peng Taguibolos, Leo Ordiales, and Buds Buddin.
Fil-Am recruit Jackson Reed will also make his debut for Alas Men in the tournament.

The match will be aired LIVE on RPTV and the Pilipinas Live app at 7:30 p.m. There will also be catchup telecasts on One Sports at 9:30 p.m. and on One Sports+ at 10 p.m.
The Alas Pilipinas Invitationals serve as an early tune-up for the upcoming 2025 FIVB Men's World Championship, which the country will co-host in September.
