Mo Konateh and the FEU Tamaraws face a must-win scenario as they try to keep their Final Four hopes alive against the surging UST Growling Tigers on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2:00 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

At 6–7, FEU remains in the hunt but will need both a victory and outside help — specifically a La Salle loss — to stay in contention for a playoff for the last semifinals berth.

The Tamaraws have won three of their last four, building just enough momentum to extend their season if they can topple UST.

Konateh has been central to FEU's late push, coming off a strong 15-point, 8-rebound outing in their win over UE.

With their season on the line, the versatile big man will once again anchor the Tamaraws’ quest for one final elimination-round surge.

Meanwhile, UST enters the matchup already secured at no. 3, riding a three-game winning streak and looking to enter its Final Four battle against defending champion UP on a high.

But despite the matchup holding no bearing for UST’s seeding, the Tigers remain dangerous as they attempt to close the round strong.

Contrasting stakes — UST tuning up for the semis and FEU fighting to stay alive — promise a compelling showdown to close Day 1 of the eliminations finale.
