Alyssa Solomon will ascend to a higher level when she conquers this "flaw."
Preseason MVP. Career-high in points. Unbeaten team. With these factors, one might think that NU Lady Bulldogs spiker Alyssa Solomon might be having the highest confidence level in her career. Quite the opposite though.
Surprisingly, Solomon admitted she's actually struggling with confidence.
"Ang sa akin po kasi nahihirapan pagdating sa kumpyansa. Minsan wala ako nun. Totoo, minsan wala po," Solomon said after the Lady Bulldgos survived a five-set slugfest against the Adamson Lady Falcons on Wednesday. Solomon was even surprised when media members pointed out that she had a career-best 28 points in the win.
The down-to-earth champion said the trust of her teammates provide her the much-needed boost inside the court.
"Sila lang 'yung nagbibigay sa akin ng kumpyansa every game. Binibigay ko lang 'yung best ko every game."
The Lady Bulldog earlier said they continue to work on their deficiencies.
Solomon is already killing it with a self-confidence issue. Imagine the havoc once she figures it out.
