The ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles made quick work of the Nxled Chameleons to return to the top of the standings in their final group stage match in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
RODRIGUEZ, Rizal — The ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles are back at the No. 1 spot in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference after dominating the Nxled Chameleons, 25-13, 25-21, 25-21, on Tuesday, November 18, at the Ynares Center Montalban.
Coming off their first loss in the conference, the Thunderbelles vented their ire against the struggling Chameleons, taking control from start to finish.
In the third set, Nxled managed to keep in step with ZUS Coffee up until the 16-all mark. But suddenly, AC Miner and Kate Santiago powered the Thunderbelles with a 4-0 blast, which proved to be the deciding factor to secure the sweep.
Anna DeBeer finished with 16 points on 13 attacks, two blocks, and one ace. AC Miner contributed 15 markers from a 72% attack efficiency in the win as Player of the Game.
ZUS Coffee finished the group stage with a 7-1 record, holding onto the top spot for now. Nxled, meanwhile, ends their campaign at 0-8, marking the franchise’s worst finish in the PVL.
