Creamline formalizes PVL Reinforced quarterfinal berth, puts Choco Mucho at brink of elimination

Defending champion Creamline Cool Smashers put up a statement win against their sister team, the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, in straight sets, 25-17, 25-17, 25-23, in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference on Thursday, November 13, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

The Cool Smashers are officially secured of a quarterfinal berth in the tournament with a 5-2 record for 4th place. The Flying Titans, on the other hand, are on the brink of missing out on a playoff spot with a 2-5 record in 10th place.

The victory also puts Creamline’s head-to-head battle with Choco Mucho at 17-1, with their only loss still coming during the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference semifinals.

Kyle Negrito orchestrated the Cool Smashers’ victory with 18 excellent sets.

Creamline will close out its round 2 campaign against the Cignal Super Spikers on Tuesday, November 18, at the Ynares Center Montalban.

Choco Mucho will need a Petro Gazz loss to have a chance at still making it to the quarterfinals. The Flying Titans’ final assignment will be against the Akari Chargers, also on Tuesday.
