The Chery Tiggo Crossovers pulled off a five-set victory against the Capital1 Solar Spikers to keep their quarterfinal hopes alive in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
The Chery Tiggo EV Crossovers reignite their quarterfinal bid in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference after overcoming the Capital1 Solar Spikers, 27-25, 23-25, 25-12, 22-25, 15-13, on Tuesday, November 11, at the FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan City.
The Solar Spikers grabbed an early 8-6 lead in the fifth set behind Ukrainian import Sasha Bytsenko and superstar spiker Bella Belen, who combined for the team’s first seven points.
But the Crossovers would not go down that easily, going on a blazing 6-0 run to take a 12-8 lead courtesy of import Yunieska Batista.
Capital1 would trim the deficit to just two points at 11-13. But Batista would not be denied as she delivered Chery Tiggo’s final two points to seal the victory.
Batista finished with a conference-high 41 points, eight of which came in the fifth set alone.
Chery Tiggo will go for back-to-back wins against the PLDT High Speed Hitters on Saturday, November 11, at the Ynares Center Montalban.
Capital1 will also be back on Saturday to face the Petro Gazz Angels.
