The Creamline Cool Smashers overcame a slow start to take down the Nxled Chameleons in four sets, 20-25, 25-13, 25-16, 25-18, in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference on Thursday, November 6, at the FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan.

After dropping the first set, the Cool Smashers found their groove behind the combined efforts of Tots Carlos, Sheena Toring, and import Courtney Schwan.

In the fourth frame, the reigning champs broke away early after three-straight aces by Pangs Panaga for a 7-2 lead. From there, Creamline pulled away for good, with import Courtney Schwan putting on the finishing touches.

Michele Gumabao was hailed the Player of the Game with 13 points on nine attacks, two blocks, and two aces.

With the win, the Cool Smashers improved to 4-2 for solo fourth in the standings, while the Chameleons remain winless at 0-6.

Creamline will be back next Thursday, November 13, against sister team, the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
