Petro Gazz dominated the first set but ran against a fired-up Chery Tiggo side, who made things tough for the Brooke Van Sickle-led squad from there.
The EV Crossovers leveled the match in the second set, then erased a 9-16 deficit and made it a nip-and-tuck battle at the tailend of the third.
But Van Sickle ended her squad's troubles with back-to-back hits to take the frame.
Chery Tiggo sustained its charge in the fourth, even leading multiple times in the frame, the last at 19-21.
But Lindsey Vander Weide sealed it, firing four hits in the Angels' 6-0 finishing kick.
