Ces Molina got emotional facing her former team for the first time as she helped lead the surging Farm Fresh Foxies past the Cignal Super Spikers for a 2-0 start in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
Ces Molina admitted she couldn’t help but feel emotional after facing her former squad for the first time, as the Farm Fresh Foxies rolled past the Cignal Super Spikers, 25-19, 25-20, 25-16, in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference on Thursday, October 16, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The match was more than just a regular game for Molina, who suited up for Cignal for three years before making a surprising exit along with Riri Meneses during the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

After a long road back to full health and confidence, the former PVL MVP, who finished with 11 points and six excellent receptions, shared that the reunion brought back a flood of memories.
“Some of my teammates, na-miss ko talaga sila sa court kasi for three years, kasama ko silang lumalaban,” Molina told One Sports. “Alam niyo naman, blood, sweat, and tears talaga. Dami na rin namin pinagsamahan, and today, ito nga, too personal. Bumabalik sa akin ‘yung mga nangyari before.”
“Tagal ko rin nawala sa volleyball, and today, I think nakakabalik na ako and I believe ko na ‘yung sarili ko, ‘yung confidence ko. So, I’m just so happy.”
Treating it as just another game
Despite the emotions, Molina said she made sure not to get carried away by the narrative of facing her former team, choosing instead to focus on her current role in Farm Fresh’s system.
“Nasabi nga ni coach, we treat every game as a different game,” she explained. “So, hindi ako masyadong nag-focus na, ‘Oh, this is my former team.’ Kailangan one game at a time. Nakita namin na ka-bracket namin sila, so ‘yun talaga ‘yung goal ko today — hindi ako mag-stiff, hindi ko ma-pressure ‘yung sarili ko para makagalaw ako nang maayos.”
A fresh chapter with Farm Fresh
The win pushed Farm Fresh to a 2-0 record, its best PVL start since joining the league in 2023. With this, Molina believes the Foxies are starting to turn a corner, grateful to be part of that growth.

“‘Yung 2-0 start namin, big opportunity ‘yon para sa’min, fresh start talaga,” she said. “Alam niyo naman dati, si Farm Fresh very young team, nasa bottom sila. But now, I think dahan-dahang umaangat si Farm Fresh, and happy ako na nandun ako sa journey nila ngayon.”
Molina and the Foxies will look to extend their unbeaten run when they take on the Capital1 Solar Spikers next Tuesday, October 21, still at the Big Dome.
