AC Miner is steadily building her connection with the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles as they continue their strong start to the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
AC Miner has been quietly putting up the numbers in the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles’ strong 2-0 start in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
The No. 5 pick in the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft was named Player of the Game after finishing with 10 points on 54% attacking efficiency in the Thunderbelles’ straight-sets win over the Galeries Tower Highrisers, 25-22, 25-16, 25-16, on Tuesday, October 14.
This marks back-to-back double-digit outings for Miner, who credited their steady progress to the time and effort they’ve invested in building trust and connection.
“I think being with the team for more than three months na siguro mas nag-improve na ‘yung connections ko with the setter,” Miner shared during the post-game press conference.
“And although sabi nga ni coach [Jerry Yee], trabaho pa rin namin ‘yung connection namin with everyone. I think mas matututunan namin ‘yon throughout this conference naman and sa practices namin.”

Continuing to build chemistry
The Thunderbelles have looked sharper and more cohesive with the addition of Miner and other key pieces to the team during the past offseasons.
Expectations are sky high for ZUS Coffee in the Reinforced Conference, with American spiker Anna DeBeer leading the attack.

With this in mind, Miner believes there is still plenty of work to come for the promising squad.
“I think ngayon nagsisimula pa lang ‘yung team since ‘yung pagsali ko,” Miner bared. “Patuloy kami nag-i-improve, hindi kami stagnant throughout the conferences.”
“Sana magpatuloy ‘yon, ma-build ‘yung chemistry namin and ‘yung winning tradition na sinasabi nga ng staff sa team,” she added.
With their rhythm steadily improving, ZUS Coffee now turns its focus to an even tougher test ahead as they get ready for a crucial clash with defending champion Creamline Cool Smashers on October 23 at the FilOil EcoOil Arena.
