The PVL will replay the October 7 matches of the 2025 Reinforced Conference to ensure fairness, after imports were unable to play due to pending ITC clearances.
The PVL announced that the two opening-day matches held on October 7, 2025, will be replayed at a later date—this time with teams playing at full strength and with cleared foreign guest players.
In an official statement, the league said the decision was made “in the spirit of fairness, competitive parity, and delivering the best possible experience to our supporters.”
“The upcoming replays will allow all teams to compete with their complete rosters, including their respective imports, ensuring the full excitement and high-level competition our fans expect,” the league said.
The announcement comes after foreign reinforcements were unable to suit up in the opening games, which featured ZUS Coffee outlasting Akari in five frames and Choco Mucho sweeping Capital1 in three tightly-contested sets.
The PVL pointed to the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) supposedly not signing off on the International Transfer Certificates (ITCs) required for overseas players to compete.

The PNVF has since signed the ITCs on Wednesday morning, allowing the imports to compete for their respective PVL clubs.
For their part, the PVL emphasized its commitment to maintaining the integrity and quality of the competition while ensuring that all teams are given equal opportunities to perform at full strength.
“The upcoming replays will allow all teams to compete with their complete rosters, including their respective imports, ensuring the full excitement and high-level competition our fans expect,” the league wrote.
“We thank our players, teams, and supporters for their understanding as we work to uphold the integrity and quality of PVL matches,” the league added.
New schedules for the replayed matches will be announced soon.
